Tailor-made suit to suit your individual needs

Sunita Suits offers you the possibility to take part in the conceptual design of your new business or leisure suit. You select the cut, tailoring and execution according to your requirements, such as: form of the collar and pockets on your jacket, the number of buttons on the sleeves, trouser cuffs and, last but not least, the fabric from an abundance of patterns.

We are pleased to welcome you in our showroom in Zurich, Berne or Basel. By request, we will visit you at your office or at home. A consultation usually lasts 45 to 60 minutes. During this time, the style is defined, the fabric selected, the cut specified and your size measured. You can select from more than 500 suit fabrics, 200 shirt and coat fabrics and any number of cuts and details.

After four weeks, your suit will be ready for fitting. Then, any details are corrected, and the suit, perfectly tailored to your personality, is ready for business, events, galas or your wedding day.

By request, we can also make express deliveries within 2 week.

Enterprise

Family enterprise

Sunita Suits was founded in 2004 by the business owner Sunita Kunsanthia. She grew up in Thailand with her father who owns a tailor shop in the middle of Bangkok. As a little girl, she was allowed to take care of smaller tasks at his shop and so discovered her passion for fashion and fabrics.

At the age of 14, Sunita came to the little village Mammern in the canton Thurgau where she completed an apprenticeship as a fashion consultant. Soon Sunita realized what had been lacking on the Swiss market: exclusive tailor-made clothing at fair prices. Since her father Amrit lal Sood had been active in this business for more than 30 years, it was obvious for Sunita to choose him as her partner and teacher. Sunita Suits is a family enterprise. Being half Indian and half Thai who grew up in Switzerland, Sunita knows how to master global business.

Manufacture

Manufacture

Sunita Suits owns a tailor shop in Bangkok and is currently employing more than 30 regular members of staff and 10 part-time employees. The production is personally supervised by Mr. Amrit lal Sood, Sunita's father. Sunita herself is flying to Bangkok several times a year to control and improve the process on-site. Due to close cooperation with Thailand, Sunita Suits is able to better meet the needs of the clients.

We attach great importance to quality and customer satisfaction. Our tailor-made clothing is 80 % hand-made and produced by qualified tailors with many years of experience. All our employees that are employed in our tailor shop in Asia are older than 20 years. They work under fair employment conditions and with fair wages. The staff are professionally trained and have been working in the business for many years.

Sunita Kunsanthia: business owner and founder - styling and image consultant

Sunita Kunsanthia, business owner

"Why should men be worse dressed than women? While the shelves in the ladies' department are full of fancy goods, men must settle for misfitting special offers at the wholesaler's. I have made it my task to offer men an appropriate wearing comfort and to provide them with individually tailored suits making them feel good."
